The key figures behind The Talking trade

John Bennett

After graduating with a degree in Business Studies, John spent many years in financial services. His various roles culminated in managing a 700-strong sales force, a role that demanded highly-effective communication and coaching skills. He has considerable public speaking experience and regularly performs in front of audiences.


Lawrence Mullin

Lawrence is a professional actor and a graduate of the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. He has experience of both television and live theatre. More importantly, he knows how to help people develop the ability to perform themselves and do it with impact (and a lack of fear) irrespective of the audience or their surroundings.

John and Lawrence run the ‘Performing in front of an audience’ workshop. They also run the ‘You and your brand’ workshop, the bespoke coaching sessions, and the corporate impact work.

In addition, Lawrence runs the ‘Voice conference’ workshop and the simulation sessions.
