Storytelling in business
We have been telling stories for thousands of years. Even before language evolved our ancestors used drawn images to tell stories. From early childhood we have loved stories. And today, despite the Internet explosion, people are buying more books than ever – traditional books of course and books on tape and on CD.
Despite using stories to depict our daily events some of us doubt our ability to “be heard” when we communicate. More often than not in telling the business message we doubt our ability to leave the safety of the facts, when in truth by using the key facts creatively the business message becomes more memorable.
If we can all tell stories, why take part in a storytelling workshop? In recent times storytelling has become both an art form and a professional tool. During this workshop you will learn how the brain processes the constant messages it receives and how using the addition of creative imagery you can engage, involve and open up an audience.
Wherever it is necessary to influence, to inspire, or to persuade; this workshop will enable you to work with your inherent creativity in order to manoeuvre your business message in front of your audience.
